Board and Services

Mystic Valley Hunt Club, Inc. will be charging all boarders a $300.00 Maintenance Fee, payable on the 1st of each month with payment for board. The Maintenance Fee is to be applied to any services provided by MVHC, such as fees for lessons, shows, clipping, etc. The Maintenance Fee is to be used in full each month, and no portion of the Fee is transferable into the next month.
Due by the first of every month. A $3.00 per day late fee will be charged for late payment of board.
Board price includes turnout, hay, shavings, sweet feed, and pellets.
Boarders will provide any different feeds, supplements, and containers in addition to:
    ▪ All horse clothing, tack, and blankets stored off of the floor.
    ▪ All soaps, wraps, fly sprays, etc.
    ▪ All wormers and medications.

NOTE: Saddle racks are provided in tack rooms. We suggest you put locks on tack trunks. This stable is NOT responsible for loss or damage of your possessions.

Lessons/Shows
Any and all fees for lessons and/or shows are to be paid for at the time of the lesson/show, not after. A fee of 1½% per month of the total bill will be charged for late payment of these services.

Farrier Services
Payment is due prior to shoeing, and the check must be written out to Chip Rankin and left on the office bulletin board. The shoeing schedule for horses is listed on the office calendar and shoeing chart, which is posted two weeks in advance. There is a $10.00 late payment fee. Boarders may use a different farrier at no extra cost. Work area must be kept neat and tidy.

Veterinarian Services
●  Salem Valley Vet and Dr. Steve Morrone provide veterinary services for the facility, and services are by appointment only. Payment is made directly to the vet.
MVHC staff will assist the vet with your horse for 15 minutes at no cost. There will be a $10 fee charged for each additional 15 minutes of staff assistance.
Other veterinarians are welcome, though owners are responsible for all arrangements, appointments and assistance.

Other Services
Additional services are provided for a fee by staff if needed. These include schooling, bathing, sheath cleaning, mane pulling, lunging, etc. Please see the "Services" entries at this web site for further details.

Inside Board:    $700/month
Outside Board:    $450/month (limited paddock)
     $400/month (open paddock)
Training & Full Board:    $1,600/month
